wordpress admin css-reboot

I finally got around to it, and I feel about a hundred pounds lighter…For a year and a half I’ve been staring at that atrocious wordpress admin panel. I was trying to hold out for chris & co. to release shuttle, but I couldn’t take it any longer. So for some unknown reason at 2am I decided to crack open the css file and strip the presentation down to a minimum and tweak it to suit my site, I suppose I could go further and put my logo in etc, but for now I just wanted to get what was, out.

Nice! I just checked it out by copying your
wp-admin.cssonto my site, and wow. What a difference a slight colour change makes. You might want to add back the
#admin-menu2padding (#adminmenu2 a { padding: .3em .4em .33em; }) though.visit Mathias Bynens

i would love to have a wordpress theme to be the same as the admin panel, this is the best panel i’ve seen eva. :) Do you have any plans on releasing matching theme?

thats a good idea trick, I would like to do that at some point, right now I really want to get the admin theme (the wp 2.0 version) into a plugin. Although I’m not entirely sure whats going to happen when shuttle comes out. Glad you like it!
