I came across the work of Etienne-Jules Marey the other night, a link trail from an Eric Meyer distraction link. I was immediately inspired. Marey’s studies were in-depth, and he began with movements of the internal organs of the human body. He later ventured outside the body and to other subjects, like animals and tracked movements of flight. What makes this so fascinating to me, is the way he did it. / more

But what makes colour lovers so unique and creative is that it’s community based; sort of like a colors version of flickr. Anyone can sign up for an account and add to the growing community palette, or just peruse the site for inspiration. Great resource, check’em out.
