cssbeauty redesigns 2

cssbeauty site grab

I was pleasantly suprised when I visited cssbeauty today and saw the new redesign. This version is much more involved than the previous one, but still maintains a good amount of whitespace. Colors have also changed, replacing that old slate blue, with a much more intense vibrant light blue and yellow. Quite a change from the old version indeed. One other thing that I noticed that was great is that the site seems to be maturing and taking on a bit more diversity with some of the job opportunities, ads and contests. The news section has had a nice facelift as well, all in all I think its a great updated site, more so in a business direction rather than a design direction, in my opinion.

It’s been a while since I fired up the wordpress admin panel to post something! My apologies for the lack of new reading material. Things have been quite busy on the biz front, and I’m currently absorbed in a number of projects, thanks to the Lord.

Whatnot 1, gravatars are currently borked again as Tom has noted in his blog, so if you see a bunch of black and gray gravatars here mixed in with working ones, you’ll know why.

Whatnot 2, I’ve been completely hooked on using Furl lately. They have a great Firefox extension that allows you to furl any page you are on quickly and efficiently. You can check out my archive, subscribe to my furl feed, and browse thru the hot new items by other furl members. And if you are so inclined, sign up for your own and start furlin’, and post your link here, I can always use some fresh furl. lol fresh furl, …? I digress.

central park site grab

Lee launched We Are Central Park last nite. Aenonfire Design had the pleasure of helping out with layout and code, I also want to thank Mr Chris for his outstanding admin comments hookup, thanks again Chris.

Central Park is a uk based Volkswagen enthusiast site. It features the fantastic photographs of Rachel and the excellent graphic work of Lee. I wish them all the best in this site, as they are extremely talented, but more than that they are a couple of great people. Drop by and pay them a visit.
